Retablo Feudi Castellazzo is a family run agricultural enterprise of about 100 ectares located in Contrada Castellazzo in the area of Trapani, in between the ancient villages of Vita and Salemi.
Half of the estate extension has always been devoted to viticolture, in line with the wine-making vocation of the Trapani countryside.
Retablo Feudi Castellazzo currently produces tre organic wines: Floriant, Sarenas and Sollazzo.
Still today Retablo proudly perpetuates the ancient wine-making techniques inherited within the owner's family, combining them with the most modern vinification technologies.
The winery avails itself of a 1.650 square meters transformation implant with 600.000 litres thermo-controlled stainless steel reservoirs, a bottling implant processing up to 3000 bottles / hour and a set of oak barrels for wine perfecting and ageing amounting to a capacity of 30.000 litres.
The result are three enologically and organoleptically excellent wines, which over the years have not only fully complied with the requirements of quality, salubrity and adherence to tradition dictated by the EU regulatory bodies for organic products, but have always surpassed them, making Retablo a leader enterprise in the Trapani area in the attainment of the standards of excellence required today in the global market of high-range wines.
As confirmation of its vocation to value and celebrate millenary traditions and faiths, Retablo also produces and bottles kosher wines.
Retablo exports its own wines all over the world with a focus in the markets of Belgium and Mexico, reached thanks to the collaboration with distributors Vasco NV SA e Docitalia S.A. respectively.
Since 2002 Retablo collaborates with the prestigious F.lli Gancia SPA at the production and bottling of wines distributed by Gancia itself with the brand Capocroce.
Additional production and commercial partners are La Cantina Ideale and Ferdinand Pieroth, for which Retablo produces and bottles respectively the brand Le Faville and Duca Bortini di Montebello and Conte Ottavio Piccolomini.
Beyond wine, Retablo Feudi Castellazzo produces durum wheat, olives and melons.
